注塑机螺杆一般情况下可分为加料段、压缩段、均化段。不同的螺杆三段所占的比值不一样，螺杆槽深不一样，螺杆底径过渡形式不一样。
　　螺杆是注塑机的重要部件。它的作用是对塑料进行输送、压实、熔化、搅拌和施压。所有这些都是通过螺杆在机筒内的旋转来完成的。
　　需要注意的内容如下：
(1)给螺栓的螺纹和螺杆头罗纹表面均匀涂上高温防紧蚀膏，以防日后拧不出来；
(2)螺杆型号确认；
(3)安装螺杆头确认止逆环介子前后端面与螺杆贴合端面要吻合；
(4)注意在把螺杆装入料筒时止逆环要用手扶住轻轻往里推，预防止逆环挂到料筒端面；
(5)注意螺杆头拧紧方向是逆时针；
(6)螺丝必须是强度级别12.9级的优质螺栓，给螺栓的螺纹表面涂上高温防紧蚀膏；
(7)前法兰与料筒螺丝一定要对称均匀拧紧；
(8)注塑机螺杆料筒冷却系统要清理干净，保证通畅。注意正确使用生料带，缠在工艺螺塞上。
